Flint House & Wallingford Museum
Flint House, Wallingford.
Originally a 15th century double ended Hall House. It now has been converted to home the Wallingford Museum and a private dwelling. We have been asked to Re-point the rear of the building with lime mortar, re roof using reclaimed tiles and make repairs to the Oak frame that was damaged in a fire in 1980. whilst uncovering sections of render an original window was discovered which still had some of the glass. This find has had the local conservation team and the museum excited and the plan is to restore the window to use
